Apple Mac OS X lion features and MacBook Air review

Largest smartphone manufacturer Apple introduced Apple Mac OS X lion MacBook Air yesterday. Here are features and readers’ review

Cupertino based tech giant Apple has launched not just several MacBook Air and Mac Mini, it has also launched latest operating system for its machines. Many are saying that the new operating system works more like mobile devices and tab operating system that a laptop and that it is significantly improved over its old version.

Meanwhile people are excited about the latest launches of MacBook Airs that have been given significant software and hardware improvements over their previous avatars.

Apple’s low priced Macbook Air, though many people call them netbooks, are a lot better than any netbook manufactured by any producer across the world. Netbooks produced across the world are cheaper because a lot of thing in those machies are way below anything that a regular laptop may offer them.

But that is not obviously true about Apple’s MacBook Air. These have better tam, better processor and of course better performance.

But many readers are a bit disappointed. A reader while writing says, “So still no return of the 30" Cinema Display, a shame. Nice on the processor updates on the minis, but why can't I get the quad-core i7 + the Radeon 6630M graphics, and why is there no optical drive? I know Apple likes to move away from what they feel are 'legacy' technologies, but my current PC still has PS/2 ports that are used, and optical drives aren't going anywhere for at least another ten years”.

Another disappointed reader says, “I know Apple hardware is pretty good, but they're charging a grand for a suped-up netbook? Only moderately suped up at that, since it has only two gigs of RAM?”
